Billboards interview with Dolly

I’ve read one of the most great interviews with Dolly yesterday. It was this one from Billboards Q & A
It is has create alot of reactions just because…I really don’t know…What’s wrong to love every humans? After all we are only humans anyway.
Here I’ve picked some of my best of the interview…

How are you different now from the girl who came to Nashville in 1964?

I’m more successful now than I was then, but I still feel like the same girl. I’m just a working girl. I never think of myself as a star because, as somebody once said, “A star is nothing but a big ball of gas” — and I don’t want to be that.

Dollywood attracts lots of church groups, but it has also become a draw for the LGBT community. What does that say about you?

It’s a place for entertainment, a place for all families, period. It’s for all that. But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they’re already sinning. The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing. I try to love everybody.

What advice do you give women going into business?

You need to really believe in what you’ve got to offer, what your talent is — and if you believe, that gives you strength. In my early days, I would go in, and I was always overmade, with my boobs sticking out, my clothes too tight, and so I really looked like easy prey to a lot of guys — just looked easy, period. But I would go in, and if they were not paying close attention to what I was saying, I always said, “I look like a woman, but I think like a man and you better pay attention or I’ll have your money and I’ll be gone.” (Laughs.)

Now y’all thought I would quote all those reactions from Billboard, but I choose not to. I don’t see the point of doing that and giving’em that attention from me. I prefer to listen to all the great music Dolly have made and learn me more business from Dolly.

Here’s Dolly with her amazing staff .

Billboard.com had interviewed a few people from her staff, but forget the Woman behind Dolly, Maybe they’ll say something in the printed mag that’s out on November 1…

Danny Nozell, CEO of CTK Management and Dolly Records
He says: “I wish some of the younger entertainers would take some lessons from Dolly because she is the most professional person. Is she tough? Absolutely she is. Behind closed doors, the gloves come off and the nails come out. At the same time, she’s the sweetest, nicest person I’ve ever met. But she’s a very hardcore businesswoman.”
Dolly says: “Danny is a go-getter. He’s always out there working. He reminds me a lot of myself in the fact that he never stops. He’s surrounded himself with a lot of great people — a lot of great people [who] make me look good.”

Maybe that’s why Dolly inspire me so much, because she’s a hardcore businesswoman, with a heart fullfilled with Love and humor too…IWLY Dolly!

Have a amazing weekend Y’all!

What do you sacrifice….?

Video

What do you sacrifice to get an personal signed 9to5 musical album by Dolly Parton?

About 3 years ago I made this little music video for a contest at Dolly’s Official site Dollypartonmusic.net . We where four people who won a personal signed album by Dolly. I think it was two in Europe and two in USA. They’re very rare.

This are my to 3 special Dolly moments:

1. 8/28/11 ; My first meeting with Dolly in Gothenburg before the show and a great hug and photo with her.

2. 5/11/12 ; Saying hi to Dolly, she got affected, beautiful. I also said hi to her best friend Judy Ogle. This was at Dollywood after one of her suprise shows there. I flew from Sweden to Pigeon Forge alone to make one of my big dreams to come true, and I sure have had alot of fun there…

3. The personal signed autograph by Dolly. Visit my twitter account and y’all will find it there.

What do you sacrifice to make your dreams come true?
