When I ate breakfast at the hotel, I saw at the news that Dolly Parton will be at Dixie Stampede 5 pm on this day 05/10/12, I was so happy to see that on the news, that ment one extra Dolly day there in Pigeon Forge. I decided to take me to Dixie Stampede after my visit at Dollywood.
I took the trolley to see first where Dixie Stampede was there, it was very close to my hotel, but on the other side of the road. Then I came to the Patriot park to take a new trolley to Dollywood. In the line I met two couples who went to Dollywood to see Family Reunions etc. They show me around Dollywood, and the best places there. I had really fun with them.
Here it’s me outside Dolly’s old tourbus, now she uses a new modern one. It was fun to go inside the bus and see how it look. It was fun to hear the guide say: Dolly do all her hair by herself, even do I know it’s her awesome hair designer Cheryl Riddle who make her fab hair. I didn’t say that to the guide, maybe he been told not to say that she has a hair designer. I don’t know.
I did also walk into Dolly’s own museum, Chasing Rainbows. It wasn’t so big as I thought it was. I did see her Better Day Tour outfits, and outfits from her latest movie Joyful Noise. I missed her outfits from Backwoods Barbie music video.
The best part of the museum was to see the real coat of many colors, she sings in Coat of many colors…
Already at this day my dreams had come true.
I also bought some fun stuff at Dollywood…Then I decide to take a trolley to Dixie Stampede, I didn’t want to miss Dolly there, now when I known that she would been there to celebrate 25 years with Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge.
I paid my ticket to Dixie Stampede about $49 ( very cheap, to see Dolly, a great show and big dinner included), then I had to wait 20 min before they let you in…To Be Continued…
